THE MATTERPORT PRO 3

The eagerly awaited Matterport Pro3 3D Camera has finally been released and we are one of only handful of tour providers in Australia with this camera. The Pro 3 enhances everything you love about the existing Matterport Pro 1 and Pro 2 camera’s, no longer are we limited to being able to scan effectively and accurately in areas protected from direct sunlight.  The new Matterport Pro 3 allows us to create beautifully accurate and immersive 3D Virtual Tours of any space — indoors or outdoors.

So whats so good about the Pro 3 Camera ?  Take a look at the video below which is a sample model we created the day the Pro 3 arrived.  This is just over 1 Acre of outdoor area scanned with the Pro 3 in less than an hour.  The distance of the laser allows for faster and larger areas to be scanned with a level of accuracy that far surpasses that of the Pro 1 and Pro 2.  This is ideal for projects like: Manufacturing plants, Boats, Complete House blocks (including the inside), office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, and not to mention the smaller spaces like Caravans.  The way the Pro 3 is made allows for little to no evidence of image stitching, or “nibbling” of things like balustrades.  Whether it is a large space or a small confined space the Pro 3 now has you covered.
